Why the reviewer chose to being "300" up so much sort of puzzles me. I like my fair share of ultra-violent exploitation flicks but also like Late Autumn and other drama just as much. I know it's a little whiny to say but I hate it when journalists have to pigeonhole to get a point across. Good film is good film. Period.
By the way, last night was a nice revisiting of the film for me. The print was excellent, thanks. :)
